The first time I tried Comebuytea was in Yuen Long. AND I LOVED IT. They made the tea buy use of a espresso type system where it's full force steam will extract the tea very quickly. I felt the tea was strong. Even when mixed with the flavor combination that I chose, I could still taste the tea. But Yuen Long was far from where I lived. Thus, Comebuytea was something I longed for whenever I go to Yuen Long (which is not often as it takes me an hour and then some to get there from my home). That was until I found that Comebuytea opened a new branch in Mong Kok! So much more convenient for me!
Located just outside T.O.P. mall, is the whole new Comebuytea. This one has seating (with USB charging stations) inside. They also have a lot more tea based products for purchase. They have two steam like espresso machines to make the tea. You'll see a tall billow of steam will erupt when they make each person's order.
Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. Ordering is simple. Choose the tea base, then any flavor you want and toppings.
I chose a roasted oolong with grapefruit juice ($28) and konjac jelly ($5). It was fantastic. the taste of the tea base was strong, fragrant and not covered up buy the grapefruit flavor. Yet, you could still tell that grapefruit juice was added. The jelly were a nice addition of chewiness.
