I had been dying to visit 那個 and was disappointed when it announced that it was closing its Tai Kok Tsui location, but was happy to learn of its expansion in many districts lately. Finally paid it a visit last night and it did not disappoint. I ordered less rice because of the satisfying portion of protein and side dishes, and even so there was still plenty of carbs to go with my meal. The chicken was tender but still chewy, the pop of flavor from the sakura shrimp chili oil really taking it to
I ordered less rice because of the satisfying portion of protein and side dishes, and even so there was still plenty of carbs to go with my meal. The chicken was tender but still chewy, the pop of flavor from the sakura shrimp chili oil really taking it to the next level. Especially loved the way the aroma soaked into the rice as well!
The side dishes comprised of scrambled egg with 菜甫 preserved vegetables, vermicelli noodles and stir-fried cabbage, all of which were flavorful but not too salty. My only minor complaint is that it was a tad oily near the end, but that's just me being picky.
Overall, an amazing dish from the pleasing plating to the flavor. Totally a steal too with a price of $70 ($64 for lunch with a complimentary refreshing drink). Would definitely come back for the signature pork chop next time! (The pork cartilage is calling my name too)
