I met up with one of my good friends for dinner tonight and we suggested Poseidon Restaurant & Bar as it was centrally located. It was located at Ashley Road, few minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.They served a wide range of Western cuisine such as bar snacks, pizza, mains, pasta, risotto, seafood, soup, salad, desserts and drinks etc. Seafood cruiser - This was their new dish in the menu, which was displayed like a cruise ship. It consisted of 12 fresh oysters, 4 Thai pomelo spicy crab & cavi
They served a wide range of Western cuisine such as bar snacks, pizza, mains, pasta, risotto, seafood, soup, salad, desserts and drinks etc.
Seafood cruiser - This was their new dish in the menu, which was displayed like a cruise ship. It consisted of 12 fresh oysters, 4 Thai pomelo spicy crab & caviar, 4 bloody Mary cocktail shrimps and 4 abalone & crab roe ponzu. The ship was brightly lit up, which was a piece of art. Yuzu champagne, sake wasabi and whisky shot were provided to dip onto the fresh oysters to enhance the freshness, which were juicy and smooth. The other 3 seafood shot glass were juicy and chewy, flavourful as well.
Lobster bisque - The serving was huge and gravy was smooth and thick in texture. It was very flavourful, with strong lobster taste.
Poseidon seafood pizza - It was 12 inch in size and of thin crust, which was crispy. It contained fresh tomato sauce, pearl scallops, prawns, baby octopus, basil, parmesan and cheese. Those seafood were juicy and chewy, with the tomato sauce base making it sweet and appetizing.
Chocolate mousse cake - Mousse cake was creamy and thick in texture, rich in cocoa and have strong chocolate taste. Macaron was very sweet and sticky too.
