榛子千層班戟Finally, a branch that’s not all the way in Tsuen Wan. However, the mango flavour that I most wanted to try was already sold out, at 7.30pm. This hazelnut one was enjoyable nonetheless, since it had an adequate taste of hazelnut, and I’m a crazy cream fan. This hazelnut one was enjoyable nonetheless, since it had an adequate taste of hazelnut, and I’m a crazy cream fan. However, the cream was perhaps not as light (like whipped cream) as I would have preferred, and almost bordered on being slightly moussey. The slice remained solidly unchanged even after 2 hours of being out of the fridge (something you can't expect from lighter cream).

And, it would be even more impressive if there were even more layers – the layers of cream would therefore be thinner and the whole thing less 漏. Something else that would improve this hazelnut cake would be… hazelnuts! If the mango cake has mango bits, and the durian one has durian flesh, why doesn’t this one have hazelnut crumbs?
