Dim sum was one of the few dishes i truly enjoyed in Hong Kong and ones that won't go wrong. Since today was weekend and suddenly we had the urge to have dim sum, i decided to rely on my trusted Openrice for advice again. Prince dragon was ranked highly in Openrice and since we were at Kowloon area, we decided to patronize there. Shop entrance was painted in bright green and was easily visible from afar. Shop entrance was painted in bright green and was easily visible from afar. It was more like a modern dim sum, as they are using black chalkboard to highlight their signature dishes, just like those dessert store are using.

Their menu was quite comprehensive, besides selling the usual dishes, they sell those creative dim sum too. Menu was a simple all chinese wording with no pictures attached. It might be difficult for foreigners to order their food though. Theme of the restuarant was selling traditional dim sum with creative packaging.

Osmanthus Jelly with coconut - I was quite surprised to see this dish being served first. Most of the osmanthus jelly does not come with coconut, thus i was quite curious about the taste. It was very refreshing in the sense that it was sweet and has a strong coconut taste.

Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun - It certainly did not disappoint. It was one of the top 3 i have tasted in Hong Kong. Just from the look at the photo was already assuring. It was piping hot even after it was served at the table for few minutes. It was alot of lava egg yolk in it and the taste was heavenly.  
Fried eggplant with prawn

Fried eggplant with prawn - I was not much a fan of eggplant but seeing this dish was quite uncommon, i decided to try it. Eggplant was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. It complimented nicely with the prawn that was juicy mixed with the sauce.

Crispy cheesy prawn - This was another dish that i was quite curious. Prawn was wrapped up in cheese, thereafter deep-fried it. Those crispy noodles was very tasty & crunchy, with very little prawn in it. As the cheese was already hardened, it could not taste much in it.   
Siu Mai with abalone

Siu Mai with abalone - It was basically a typical siu mai with a small piece of abalone on top on it. Even though this dish was quite creative, i could not taste much of abalone as it was really too small. I guess i could not complain too much as the price suggest everything. Siu Mai was soft and tender. 
Shrimp dumpling

Shrimp dumpling - Skin was very thin, thus i could chew it easily with few bites. Prawn was of average size and was juicy. 
Lotus root soup with pork ribs

Lotus root soup with pork ribs - There was no meat inside the soup as it basically serves the bone & lotus root. I do enjoy the dish as i could not see much oil floating at the top of the soup and it was quite sweet. This soup can help to prevent heatiness in my body.
