First time here and ordered quite a number of dishes for two. The hot and sour soup - a bit on salty side and would have been nice to have a bit more shredded pork, fungus and duck blood in the soup. Will not order it next time. The celtuce (celery lettuce) was crisp and refreshing. The spring onion oil was fragrant and there was a hint of peppercorn as well. We liked it’s FB page and got the shredded chicken in chili sauce for $1. The orange chili sauce was okay. Not authentic for me.

The pickled turnip was a bit too sharp and tangy for me. And I was expecting it to be the dried and aged pickle.

The diced chicken with chili pepper was good. It was tender and moist despite the chicken was chopped into small pieces. I could taste the peppercorn along with the chili. I had it extra spicy and it was just right for me.

The duck’s blood, tripe and pork intestine in spicy sauce was quite authentic. The sauce was a bit salty for me but the seasoning (mix of spices and chili) was okay. My first time to have this dish with also luncheon meat and squid in it. Extra bonus for me as I like both.

On balance, it’s a decent place for Sichuan food.
