I love choux so when I found a new shop opened that served this, I decided to try it out.Buff is a small kiosk located in K11. Serving all sorts of cute mini choux pastry for $18 each. They are dainty with cute little designs. Though geared for take away, they do have one lone table for you to eat the little pastries. Each of the choux are neatly labelled in English and Chinese. While deciding on which to choose from, the staff informed me that if I bought 5, I get one free. Well....I would if

While deciding on which to choose from, the staff informed me that if I bought 5, I get one free. Well....I would if your products are good. So, I decided to only try one. As it was Easter, I chose the Easter limited version. This was a cute little cream puff with pastry cream that was made to look like a chick. As it was bigger than the other choux, this cost $28. It was definitely cute. But taste? The choux pastry was sadly soggy. It wasn't crispy at all. The pastry cream was creamy but I would have liked it to have a bit more vanilla taste. For those that have tried Owl's Choux that is just located across the street from K11, that place does an excellent choux pastry. This place was clearly not as good. It wasn't even close. Though Buff's chous are cute and definitely social media friendly. But other than that, I'd suggest going across the street for much better choux.
