After serveral distractions in Kowloon City, we finally arrived our REAL destination - the popular Tony Wong Chocolate TruffleThis is very nice. The dome looks beeeeeatiful!! Its has the smoothest surface ever lol I can see my reflection even with my iphone camera, perfect. The taste is great too. It is basically a crispy rocher's base with a lot of mousse in the middle and mirror with chocolate. Chocolate Truffle
This is very nice. The dome looks beeeeeatiful!! Its has the smoothest surface ever lol I can see my reflection even with my iphone camera, perfect. The taste is great too. It is basically a crispy rocher's base with a lot of mousse in the middle and mirror with chocolate. However, comparison with the Paul Lafayet's Craquelin au chocolate, its taste is a bit less diversified. The chocolate is as well not as rich as the icecream from awfully chocolate. It is also not as truffled as I thought. Overall it is still very nice just there are some toooooooooo amazing ones around me at the moment lol
Mango Napolean
When we finished buying the truffle, the staff presented a whole new set of Mango Napolean. (We thought about the berries Napoleon but I dislike berries) Awwwwwww look so nice so we bought it as well. I have never seen this Napolean from comments here and it is quite nice. I don't like it as much as my mum and boyfriend, but it is still nice. The mango mustard is both creamy and fruity (mum and bf love this part), the mango is quite sweet. The pastry does not seem that fresh, a bit too hard, not so airy. I do not like fruits in dessert that much so I prefer the chocolate one but this is great as well!
A bit too pricey though! Sometimes I am glad that I am not a huge fan of dessert (or other expensive food), because they usually cost so much :S
