I was really impressed by pastaholic’s menu. They had the classics but also some of their signature spins on dishes. We ordered their double spicy aglio olio, carbonara, Parma ham and salad pizza and lamb chops.The carbonara ($88) was served with a poach egg, which I always find a good touch to make carbonaras more rich. The pasta is perfectly al dente in both dishes. It’s always a challenge to find pastas at this price pint without the fear of them overcooking the pasta and making it mushy. But they’ve really made a good form pasta.

The lamb chops ($128) came next and it was beautifully presented. It was a complete meal on its own served with potato wedges grilled onions and sauces on a skillet. The dish smelled amazing and the charcoal flavor was just like having a nice barbecue on a summer day. The sauce was delicious too.
Lastly came the pizza. By salad, they were referring to romaine lettuce but I think arugula would have worked better. The base of the pizza was amazing! It seemed like they used a real good wood fired pizza oven. The Parma ham was delicious too, but the real star was the base.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed by the food and service at pastaholic. Can’t wait for my next visit.
