Me and my friend always loved french crepe! We tried the one in Wai Chai and we fell in love with it. Now they open a new branch in causeway bay, the location is prefect for us as we work around there.We always order the apple juice because it is not too sour and taste very refreshing. We always order the apple juice because it is not too sour and taste very refreshing. We ordered a smoked salmon salad as starter. The salad has raw scallops, lemon juice, shallots, smoked salmon and tomatoes. The lettuce were very crispy and tomotoes were very fresh and sweet. The salmon were a bit salty but it tasted alright when you eat it with the cheese. We were happy that the salad came with the crepe as well.
We ordered "La Super Complete" as our main. This savory crepe is for cheese lovers as it contains ham and egg as well as three different types of cheese : emmental cheese, camembert cheese and roquefort cheese. We enjoyed tasting the different types of cheese within one dish. The crepe was very crispy and a bit bitter. One of the staff later on explained to us that for the savory crepe, the crepe is supposed to be a bit bitter. I actually didn't really mind the bitter as it tasted well with the cheese.
As for the dessert, we choose our favourite "Le Defi" which is crepe with caramel ice-cream, cooked banana and salted butter caramel. This was our favourite! The crepe was soft to chew and I love the flavour of the cooked banana. The ice-cream was very yummy, there were bit of toffee inside.
The environment of the restaurant was very comfortable. It is a great place to have a chat with your friends. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They will come and explain the menu to you and ask for your opinion regarding the food every now and then. The service was amazing.
