Time to catch Pokemon! My friend and I were meeting up to catch Pokemon in Sheung Wan because we heard that it's like a paradise there, you can catch all sorts of special Pokemon. While we were walking and finding the best spot to settle, we stopped in front of this Japanese bbq restaurant because there were lots of Pokemon to catch. Kani miso scallop sashimi:
This was a highly recommended starter so we ordered it to try it out. They were right, it was delicious! The scallop was fresh and soft; it matched so well with the crab roe. The crab roe was AMAZING!!!!!! The flavour was so strong and GOOD!!!!!! It was fresh and sweet! I love it so much. The staff recommend us to eat this before anything else otherwise we won't be able to taste the freshness and he was right about that.
Japanese tomato salad with sesame sauce:My favourite type of salad because I am always a fan of Japanese sesame sauce! There were lots of it in the salad.😍 The veggies were fresh and crunchy; I love the cherry tomatoes because they were so sweet and juicy!
Salted tongue with green onion:We started the bbq party with the tongue first. This didn't take long to cook because it was super thin and we only need to cook one side only. I ate the whole thing in one bite, it was amazing! It was super juicy! And I am talking about beefy juice. The texture was so tender! The green onion definitely brought out the meaty flavour. I didn't dip it in any sauce because it was so tasty itself.
BBQ sauce beef:This was another amazing dish! I honestly don't know how they marinate these food but they were amazingly done! I couldn't take my mouth off these beef! Me and my friend were fighting over them because they were just fabulous. The texture was so tender and just melted in our mouth. The flavour was so good!!!!!!!! This is a must try item!!!!😋
BBQ fillet:The fillet was cut into small cubes which made it easy for us to eat. I think they use special herb to marinate this fillet because I found the taste quite different. The texture was a bit chewer than the previous beef but still very tasty.
Salted matsusaka pork:Pork is always my favourite, these pork stripes were marinate perfectly! I could taste salt and pepper only but it tasted amazing! I think it is also because the staff cooked it perfectly, I could see him keep turning it non stop so that the pork stripes were crispy but NOT burn. There was a bit of fat on these pork which made it taste even better.
Salted pork belly:To be honest, when the staff was cooking them, I was very scare because there were lots of flames. These pork belly were so fatty which cause lots of flames. Their texture was like bacon and very crispy.
Butter boneless chicken leg:This was one of my favourite! Again, the staff cooked them perfectly because he kept turning them over and over again to keep them from burning. The edges of the chicken were crispy. The chicken was amazing, it was super juicy and tender! The texture was so smooth!😍 Before serving, the staff dipped them into the butter mixture which lift up the flavour. I love this butter chicken very much.
Zucchini:One of my favourite vegetable, the staff only need to cook it one side because it was very thin. There was some miso sauce on the top to give out the flavour. The texture was soft and it tasted very good with the sauce.
Salted king oyster mushroom:
I like how they marinate these mushroom, they were delicious. Again, the staff only need to cook it one side so it didn't take long for them to be cooked. The mushroom was soft and juicy. The flavour was so good that me and my friend wanted to order more.
It took us around one hour to finish off our dinner, we didn't sit for long because we were very eager to catch the Pokemon but next time, we will come again with more friends. 張貼
