棋哥燒鵝餐室 (English name: Ki's Roast Goose Restaurant) has a number of locations. All in the Causeway Bay/Wanchai/Tin Hau area. So many restaurants all within walking distance. During afternoon tea time, they have an afternoon tea menu. It's in Chinese only. But basically, it's various types of roast meat and it comes with a drink. There is no 10% service charge.
Boyfriend ordered the mini char siu rice tea set ($35). Though it said mini, it still offered quite a good portion of char siu. The char siu was AMAZING. Not too fat but enough to make it juicy! The taste was fantastic. Sweet and savory. There were some pickles on the side as well as vegetables.
I had the roast goose with noodles ($40). The goose meat was great. Firm but yet tender. The marinade they used was intense but not overly salty as well. The fat seemed to still be stuck to the meat so the skin part just fell to the side. The skin was crisp.
Service was pretty good. They forgot to take down our order but then when asked, the person remembered our order and apologized for not following through with it. They were even good enough to search every table for a spoon when asked. Place is fairly clean though it is cramped. Great place with a decent price and I'll be back.
