Came here for lunch with boyfriend as he wanted to try it. Located in Prince Edward in an area that sells a lot of whole sale fabric stores, is this place that serves dim sum all day long in a chic cafe like setting. Seating is quite spacious. And there are these cute bird cages on the ceiling, paying homage to the past when local Hong Kongers used to bring bird cages to dim sum and hang them on hangers near by.Menu is in the form of a piece of paper on a clipboard that you check off. Menu is in the form of a piece of paper on a clipboard that you check off. It's only in Chinese. There is no English available. Yes, people ... I've entered the really dark side of Hong Kong. I even got lost trying to find this place and asked a police officer because Google Maps didn't work!

Baked Char Siu Bao. This is like the ones at Tim Ho Wan but yeah ... not good at all. Honestly, these were the WORST char siu bao I've ever had and I LOVE char siu bao. I rarely complain about them. But these were bad. Not enough filling (though the filling was tasty enough). It was the bread. It felt undercooked and doughy.

Coconut and Osthamus Jelly. These were pretty good. Though a bit too much coconut and thus over powered the delicate osthamus flower. What was weird was the bottom layer was crooked. Upon closer inspection I realized they made the bottom layer separate and just slid the top three on top. I don't know why they did that.

Deep Fried Cheese in Birds Nests. This wasn't very good. Way too much fried noodle. Cheese wasn't very cheesy. But it was also way too filling.

Har Gao. You can order these in two or four. Quite convenient if you have just yourself or two people. Shrimp was ok. Skin was a bit too sticky. But over all ok.

Xia Long Bao. These weren't good at all. Not soup and just plain dry inside. The skin was way too thick and tasted like dough.

Molten Egg Yolk Custard Buns. The bread here was much better as it was tasty and not doughy tasting. The egg yolk custard just leaked out all over like it was supposed to.

Siu Mai. They had regular siu mai and ones with quail eggs (like they did it old school). We chose regular. These were pretty good. You can also order two or four.

Lor Mai Gai. Also known as sticky rice with chicken wrapped in a lotus leaf. I ate this the next day for lunch as we were too full. This was pretty HUGE and tasted good. Not only was there chicken meat in it, but there was also duck meat and a quail egg. I liked the addition of the quail egg instead of the usual addition of salty duck egg as I don't like salty duck egg.

Steamed Shrimp Rice Rolls. This was good, too. The skin was a bit thick but there was a tasty shrimp in each one.

Service was pretty good and friendly enough. Over all the dim sum was ok. It wasn't high end dim sum. Safer to chose the classics and leave the new styled dim sum behind as the new style ones weren't good at all. The classics were acceptable. We paid $120. There was no 10% and you pay at the cashier at the door. Pretty cheap. However, won't return as it's not convenient for me to eat mediocre dim sum.
