It was my second time visiting this restaurant and so far, thought their service and food were okay so far for their price. Their tables were not seated too close together which was a nice touch which happens in a lot of yum cha places nowadays. We ordered the crispy spring rolls with wasabi which was deep fried quite nicely but surprisingly didn't come with any sauce which you could request for though. We ordered the crispy spring rolls with wasabi which was deep fried quite nicely but surprisingly didn't come with any sauce which you could request for though.
Then came the shredded chicken, celery and pickled mustard root rice roll. Didn't like the filling as much but the rice rolls themselves were super silky and smooth.
Since it was highlighted as a chef's recommendation, we ordered the scallop crystal dumplings. This was quite a big disappointment as the scallops were sliced so thinly it was a bit overcooked and they added too much cilantro inside.
Lastly, we had fried flat noodles with sliced pork which was super delicious. The pork was still tender and bean sprouts still a tad crunchy.
Overall for this price, it is definitely worth a try as their dim sum does vary from traditional yum cha places.
