Paris 1985, I had lunch at Le Radis de L'Entrecote, immediately I was in love with their creamy butter herb sauce, even with the 2nd serving on French beef and fries, it was never enough. Paris 1985, I had lunch at Le Radis de L'Entrecote, immediately I was in love with their creamy butter herb sauce, even with the 2nd serving on French beef and fries, it was never enough. Over 30 years, Le Radis has been one of my favorite restaurants together with originated place Café de Paris in Genève.
I went to the Hong Kong shop yesterday, the service was fine, but the Main Dish was a total disappointment.
I couldn’t finish my 1st serving. The butter sauce all broken up, melted butter was running all over the serving dish and the herbs were somewhere on the beef. The sauce tasted greasy, beef has no taste. Beef from local steak house like Golden Phoenix or Wanchai Boston are much better. French Fries, I would rather have fires from MacDonald’s.
Radis HK is missing “Heart”. French takes foods very seriously; perfection when they serve. I sincerely hope Radis can bring back the French professionalism to Hong Kong shop.
