From the outside, I was enticed by the décor of this quaint, seemingly authentic Japanese restaurant. I had high expectations after seeing good reviews on open rice, but unfortunately was very disappointed. Five of us went for dinner on a Friday night. The ambience was satisfactory but food quality, freshness, service and taste were all well below expectation. Saying it was mediocre would be a compliment. And when the final bill came, it was shocking. The fish was too salty, we barely touche
Five of us went for dinner on a Friday night. The ambience was satisfactory but food quality, freshness, service and taste were all well below expectation. Saying it was mediocre would be a compliment. And when the final bill came, it was shocking.
The fish was too salty, we barely touched it - but the staff didn't seem too concerned by our comments. They didn't try to rectify the problem nor did they offer any apologies.
Overall this dining experience was
not one I would care to repeat nor recommend to my friends.
