Excuse me for being blunt, but the cafe experience I had was dreadful:1. Security issues: top bottom sliding windows are not closed and bags on bench are a metre away from the passers-by on the street to simply take my bags. Excuse me for being blunt, but the cafe experience I had was dreadful:

1. Security issues: top bottom sliding windows are not closed and bags on bench are a metre away from the passers-by on the street to simply take my bags. I asked the cashier if I could close the sliding window next to where I sat. She did not know how to response and ignore my question. I tried to close the sliding window as much as I could but there's always a gap. Once I left the table and used the bathroom, the owner open that particular window as much as possible. It is understandable that the better air ventilation there, the more enjoyable dining experience there. But it should not be done at the expense of security.

2. Tables are not numbered or coloured for signaling. Diners have to order first before taking seats and have to point to the table while ordering. It's acceptable for a restaurant during its pilot run.

3. There were a number of diners who seemed to be the owner's friends. I understand the cafe aims at providing a relaxing environment for gatherings. But the speaking volume of those diners who apparently befriended the owner was quite unbearable. It's like sitting in the middle of a busy wet market during the peak hours. It is inevitable that babies and toddlers may not be able to control themselves, but the adults were like shouting to each other, especially from one table to another. I would say at that time I'm like being suffocated in terms of limited space and lots of gigantic speech bubbles.

3. The iced hazelnut latte was disappointing. A mediocre drink with poor quality coffee and hints of hazelnut were almost absent. The syrup was not very appetizing, to say the least. Utterly disappointing.

4. Cramped seats: The waitresses and the owner had to squeeze themselves to walk along the narrow "pathways", not to mention the diners.

5. There's a table seemed rotating itself due to loose screws. A senior citizen who appeared to be the restaurant handyman offered help to fix it. Kind of fun yet weird seeing it.

6. The positive sides: drinking water provided in the self-help corner is served with hints of lemon which is refreshing during the long walking day. The toilets seem sanitary, albeit small.

In short, there's plenty of cafes there nearby.
