After reading so many good comments from openrice on the NZ black mussels from this restaurant......I decided to have a try on this restaurant yesterday night with a little expectationI ordered NZ black mussels, half portion of baby back ribs, salmon and salmon roe lingerine in creamy sauce and half jug of ice tea punch.The bread served was okay, though its not warm when served and the waitress reheat the bread for us with nice attitude.Black mussels, that's really disappointing......the mussels

Black mussels, that's really disappointing......the mussels are not fresh at all and its not those of good quality, the meat inside were shrinken and not soft at all despite the source is creamy, it doesnt worth $85 with this quality.....totally different from the pictures showed in the comments in 7/2009 by Ng Siu Siu and from the picture of the menu.......I wondered if it is not the season of mussels or just that the mussels they ordered are of low quality one.
Baby back ribs, the ribs itself is ok, meat are tender and soft but the fries come with the ribs are overcooked or ?double cooked, not tasty
ice tea punch, i would say ok, not impressive, a good choice if u want some light drinks instead of soft drinks
$430-dinner was not that expensive but I'd say there are lots of better choices in Sai Kung~
