Surprised with the overall positive reviews on openrice since the reviews on other social media are quite mixed. Recommended by a friend to try it out and was served by Chef Tango Lai. The freshness of ingredients was doubtful and I had some upset stomach afterwards. The menu had plenty of food to fill you up but for $2000 per head you would expect more pricey ingredients like uni and ikura. The menu had plenty of food to fill you up but for $2000 per head you would expect more pricey ingredients like uni and ikura. You also wouldn't expect the toro to look like this (thin cut with little marbling). The chef also dropped a piece of sushi on the floor in front of us, and had to recut the fish (he cut out 3 sets of fish for the 3 of us, looked at it, then threw it out and redid it. It wasn't trash/end bits.) Maybe he was having too much fun with the sake that the table next to us was pouring him? Not sure. Definitely won't be back
