The cream is equally as light and runny, which gives you that waterfall effect when lifting up the plastic film. Though with the name in mind, apart from it’s colour, there isn’t much that classifies it as “red velvet” which was slightly disappointing.

— The pancake batter for this is the same so the soufflé pancakes were guaranteed to be pretty well executed. The main difference lies in the cream the flavours it brings. The cream for this was slightly thicker, which resembled a lightly whipped mascarpone. It’s also lightly salted and reminded me of the cheese foam caps you get in bubble teas. This went surprisingly well with the sweetness of the pancake as the flavours complemented each other well. The biscuit crumbs and wafer rolls added a nice crunchy element to the dessert.
