Favourite of the evening was their chicken karage, served with a spicy yogurt sauce. They were so incredibly crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside! if you are not into spicy, you can also ask for their yuzu mayo.
As for mains, we had THE ONE, which resembled a salmon poke bowl. I particularly love the marinated mushroom, which added an extra kick of flavour. On the whole, it had a bit too much sauce for my liking, and the crispy tofu and seaweed were both a little soggy and blend. But still a very satisfying dish! Our other choice of main was their TEMAKI SET, and the wagyu beef roll really stood out among the other hand rolls.
As for dessert, we had the POPPIN’ ICE CREAM, which consisted of vanilla ice cream and olive oil which despite how weird it sounds, actually tasted fine together! Unfortunately, the popcorn has again gone soggy.
Nevertheless, the hospitality of their staff is a sure 10 out of 10! They were amazing when we let them know our thoughts on the food and were very apologetic when they found out they had run out of the other dessert option and had to give us both the same thing despite us having asked for one of each.
