I still remember finding :jrink hidden on Ormsby Street in Tai Hang, with the pretty brick wall, and amazing selection of novel tea leaves they sold. The can of banana latte black tea leaves I bought definitely gave me joy. As this wonderful tea allowed me to have a taste of both latte and tea.Visiting the Tea Express Bar by Jrink was another delightful experience. While waiting for my drink to be served, I asked the shop assistant (or actually the owner?) whether the shop in Tai Hang was closed

Visiting the Tea Express Bar by Jrink was another delightful experience. While waiting for my drink to be served, I asked the shop assistant (or actually the owner?) whether the shop in Tai Hang was closed, and she replied yes, as the rent was not affordable, which a lot of cafes and restaurants face the same situation, and they are looking to re-open again this year, probably on the Kowloon side. Hurray!

This big cup of Earl Grey Chocolate (and the sloth gang behind) made my day. Tea from Jrink never disappoints. The rich chocolate did not mask the scent of earl grey, instead, they kind of topped up the flavour of each other - the earl grey made the chocolate less thick and sweet, while the chocolate brought a fruity/floral flavour in the tea. I love this drink so much! But one drinking tip - make sure you mix the drink well! Thanks to shop assistant/owner for reminding
Another highlight of this drink is the enormous marshmallow! Coated with chocolate and dipped in the drink, you might think that it would be soggy when you eat it after finishing the drink. Surprisingly, it wasn’t. It was still solid and not overly sweet. But it was quite filling though. So make sure you reserve sufficient tummy space if you want to finish this drink in one go, I actually drank it for two hours. Now I can’t wait to visit again to try out other drinks!
