Don’t get fooled folks, the name of this restaurant - “C+” is not the same as the score I would give their burgers. In fact, “C+” here means “private” when you think about its pronunciation in Chinese “私家“. Observing from the layers of the burgers, I could tell that some thoughts were put into their production.We got two Truffle Cheese Burger sets ($80 for the burger + $58 for fries, coke & buffalo wings) x 2 = $276. We got two Truffle Cheese Burger sets ($80 for the burger + $58 for fries, coke & buffalo wings) x 2 = $276. I heard that the shop owner prepares the beef patties daily in the morning which I am appreciative of. However, to be frank, I expected the patties to be more flavourful and juicy. I was a bit surprise when I found out that the patty tasted rather like mince instead of more steak like. Also, the bun was not really to my liking as it tasted a bit dry. The fries, as expected were just regular fries though the buffalo wings were smaller than expected and they were not marinated in spice… The wings were only served with BBQ sauce so we found it disappointing. That said, the burger tasted pleasant as a whole and the truffle within was really good. The truffle was the first thing we smelt once we opened the packaging and it paired great with the patties.
So overall, I will give this restaurant a “B” but I must emphasise its “A” for effort!
