Upon completion of a work assignment under a tight deadline, my boss suggested having dinner at the Blind Pig at Soho East to unwind.The Blind Pig is one of our favorite restaurants where we can enjoy good food and drinks at reasonable price. The Blind Pig is famous for its slow cooked BBQ baby back ribs. We ordered this signature dish ($288) and were happy with our choice. The ribs were well seasoned and delicious. We also enjoyed the coleslaw, corn on the cob and French fries. It is highly recommended if you have not tried it before.
Chicken Florentine macaroni ($178) is very good, too. The macaroni with cream, parmesan, spinach and chicken breast is always my number one comfort food.
There are various attractive mocktails. Lychee tea ($62) comprising jasmine tea, lychee, vanilla syrup and lemon grass is refreshing. Refreshing piglet ($62), a funny name, is satisfying. It is made up of citron honey, coconut water, lime juice and cucumber.
My boss said that the bill was on him. This made the dinner more enjoyable.
