The favorite of the night has to be the baby squid in cold soya marinate and
Szechuan pepper. So much depth!
I personally prefer their spicy pepper mud crab over their signature huadiao wine steamed crab. The mud crab is huge and very meaty. The peppery flavor is great.
The razor clam steamed with aged lemon and garlic was even better this time. The subtle hint of salty lemon makes the dish unique.
The fatty charsiu and pork
tendon is yummy! Seriously fatty and super thick cut.
The slippers lobsters with snap beans and fresh
water baby crab roes is a bit too subtle in its taste for me.
The fermented shrimp paste marinated pork belly
clay pot rice is a bit dry. Would prefer other options.
Overall, the standard and experience this second time around is much better than the first time. Next time, will definitely try more adventurous dishes.
