I had a gathering with my ex colleagues at this Thai restaurant the other day. The
restaurant locates within Holiday Inn Hotel, so I guess their main target customers
should be the guests who stay there.

The restaurant has set up some heaters and tents outside, hence we decided to have the
outdoor seat which contains a better atmosphere

We arrived the restaurant around 5:30pm, then the waiter was so friendly to introduce
some of their promotions to us

. And the promotions are pretty interesting, one of them
will be “Drinking Game 101”, which means every first 7 minutes of the Happy Hour
Time (4pm to 7pm), you can get a drink for 7 dollars

!! If you miss out the time, youcan still enjoy the buy one get one free offer for the drink

Thai Ice Milk Tea

So we wait till 6pm to order the drinks hehe

and I ordered this Thai Ice Milk Tea. When you pour in the milk to tea, the drink become orange color. The taste of it is more milky than tea, is not so special but it only cause 7 dollars~~

Thai Longan Fizz

Compare to the Thai Ice Milk Tea, I prefer this Thai Longan Fizz more

. It is a frozen longan drink with few pieces of longan within, is sweet and refreshing

. As I like this drink more, my friend is so kindness to exchange this with Thai Ice Milk Tea with me

And one of my friend ordered a Lime Soda, but is super sour that you can't drink it

. Is slightly better after adding the syrup, however there are too many lime seeds

Another offer from the restaurant is “Pick What You Pay”, all you need to do is to pick a small foam board that have stated different prices from the lucky draw box and that will be the cost of each person for the happy hour snacks buffet

The most expensive one is $48 and the cheapest cost only $8, this is completely insane

!!! My friends named me to pick the board and obviously I am not that lucky

, I picked $38 nonetheless is still not too bad for an all-you-can-eat snack buffet.

Fried Chicken Cartilage

There are various Thai Snack food on the table, we just serve ourself out~ This Fried Chicken Cartilage is crispy and spicy, is super match with a pint of beer

So I have heard from the waiter, this is some kinds of popular street food in Thailand called "Miang Kham". You can get a herb leave and flip it like a small bowl, then put different spices like chilli, onion, lime, nut, dried fish and more into that edible bowl.
Caution about the chilli, is really spicy and i put only two small pieces

(I like to Sichuan spicy food)

Pla Siu Thod Sa Moon Pai

Pla Siu Thod Sa Moon Pai is basically a dish with cashnut and dried fish. Personally I don't like both ingrdients

, nevertheless it contains a nice crunchy texture.

Crispy Rice with Coconut Dip

I am sorry that I have forgot the actual name of this dish, it is simple yet delicious. The restaurant deep fried the grain into a chip and serve with that dip that made with coconut milk. The grain chip is very crispy and can bring out the coconut flavour of the dip

Satay Chicken and Pork

How can you called this Thai snack buffet without Satay Chicken and Pork

?? I believe it is the most delicious side dishes there

, the satay is in good spicy and too salty. The chicken and pork is really tender which didn't overcooked.

If you just read the English menu, you might not be able to understand what is "Kaw Moo Yaang" lol. Luckily, they have stated the name in Cantonese which you can know what is it exactly

. It used a herb leave wrapped with the pork neck, but I think the taste of the herb leave is a bit overshadow the pork neck

Thai Citrus Salad

Last but not least is the Thai Citrus Salad, which the Citrus is sweet and sour, it is a refreshing dish after so many deep fried and spicy snack food.
I can say anything really bad about it since all of this cost around $50 only

. I am sorts of regret I didn't a beer tho

, i think it would be amazing to drink beer with this spicy Thai food~~
