Birthday celebration at Cassio Service was excellent, a chef was often walking around, serving, taking orders, making small talk, staff was attentive and friendly. They gave us free birthday cake AND the chef came over in the end giving our little girl ice cream praising her for eating lots at dinner. It was quite sweet! Prawn croquettes were SO GOOD! This is a must have however it is 68 bucks for only 2 pieces…
Chorizo was nice, my daughter loved it…she's actually quite a picky eater but she ate so much last night - always a good sign!
Tomato toast were crispy and topped with sweet fresh tomatoes, quite nice but no wow factor there.
Baby veg with quinoa consisted of beautiful fresh veggies, topped with a sweet, sometimes quite sharp sauce. Overall a nice dish.
Scallop ceviche was an outstanding dish with a sweet sauce and crunchy bits of corn
Octopus was nice and tender, loved the presentation of it however the purple potatoes lacked seasoning.
Suckling pig was crispy on the outside, tender inside, served with a sweet potato mash and some zucchini on the side; overall a decent dish.
Classic Tortilla lacked a bit of seasoning again for me...
Potato Bravas was essentially fried potatoes with salt, chili sauce, and a bit of mayo on top...
Overall a lovely restaurant with fresh ingredients and excellent service, good place for a few glasses of wine and a few small bites.
