I’ve always longed to try their “thousand-layer pork cutlet” since I last dined here. Today finally paid my second visit to give it a go.As usual, there’re ample people queuing up during lunchtime — vibrantly busy. First up here came the udon. Next up we had the green tea buns. Well the buns tasted nothing like green tea except the layer of matcha powder sprinkled on top of them. The salted egg custard was a fine job, a great combo of savoury and sweetness together in a green bun. Perhaps they should rename this dish…

The rice arrived afterwards. No special comments about this one. A fair taste overall. Chicken pieces weren’t too dry or stiff. The rice had a aromatic scent of truffle.

To be honest I do anticipate more and a better quality with their prices. But I guess this cuisine is already a relatively cheaper one compared to the rest in this location.
