They were offering a take away bento sets that change weekly. All include a ddrink of either a soft drink or soy milk. Menu is in English and Chinese. As it's take away, there is no 10% service charge and there is a discount for self-pick up.
They also offer other sets for those that don't want the bento options.
This is set A ($62) which included sauteed French bean with minced pork, fried la mian with minced pork and black fungus, braised Shanghai bok choy with black mushroom and drunken pork knuckle as the cold appetizer. The take away box was nicely constucted to separate each section and held together well. They even wrapped the drink tightly in another plastic bag to make sure it didn't spill.
The drunken pork knuckle was really boozy to the point it was almost bitter. The beans were pretty good and savory. The noodles were a bit oily but well seasoned. The bok choy was seasoned though I couldn't find any mushrooms in it.
This is set B ($65) which included sweet and sour fish fillet, braised Shanghai bok choy with black mushroom, braised eggplant in special sauce and rice. The sweet and sour fish was a bit stingy. But it tasted ok though a bit on the sour side. The eggplant was really salty. I felt a bit too salty. The bok choy again didn't have mushrooms.
Food was ok and for this price rather reasonable. I'd probably order this again if the week's selections looked interesting.
