As the weather suddenly turned cold, everyone was rushing to have snake soup. As we have sudden craving for it as well, we decided to go to 蛇王熙 for dinner. Snake soup with fish maw - Given the price, it was very value for money. There were alot of ingredients in it such as fish maw, snake meat and mushroom etc. It was sticky in texture and chewy, helping to warm the body during this cool weather.
Tea tree mushroom with shark cartilage and pork soup - We seldom saw this soup on the menu thus decided to order it. Mushroom was long and thin in size, very chewy. Shark cartilage was soft and smooth. Soup was very clear and nourishing, absorbing the essence of the soup broth, and not much oil in it.
Preserved meat glutinous rice - Preserved meat was salty and flavourful, going well with the glutinous rice, which was chewy and sticky in texture. Rice was fragrant as well.
BBQ pork and roasted meat rice - BBQ pork was sweet and juicy, and roasted meat was chewy, with little fats in it.
