At first I was confused if the Pastaholic chain was related to Saizeriya in anyway. Long story short I still don’t know 😂 But a quick google search tells me that Pastaholic is run by Watami group.The restaurant was pretty empty even on a Sunday afternoon. You order by scanning the QR code that they give you. You choose what you want and submit your order online using your mobile phone. Perfect for all the socially awkward folks out there.
I got the Herb Chicken with Pumpkin Cream Sauce Fresh Pasta ($78). This was one of the only two menu items with fresh pasta. The texture was indeed nice and chewy! However, I wish there was more chicken. And though the pasta texture was great, the sauce was just okay. Seemed to be missing that extra kick of flavour.
Overall I thought the food was okay. Might come back to try their other dishes, but I wasn’t particularly impressed this time around.
