Finally got a chance to try this famous “fine dining” restaurant in sheung wan local wet market!I love the casual vibe there a lot, is quite interesting to have proper western dinner at “dai pai dong” environment. And actually most of the customers are westerners, it made us believe the food should be really authentic. Turns out, food was really not bad with affordable price! I was quite impressed with their pigeon pithivier, $268 only, and it was beautifully made, the pigeon was flavourful and succulent. Although I still like the one I tried from Le bistro winebeast more, I have no complains given the price tag here
The beef cheek was delicious as well..
Ordered foie gras tart as starter, interesting ..
both pavlova and soufflé were worth trying..
Overall, I think everything was pretty good, free corkage, great for fds gathering and celebration, and all the staffs were very friendly, I actually enjoyed this meal a lot even the environment wasn’t fancy.
