I took recommendation of colleague in picking this restaurant which has been quite hot on ig recentlyThe shop is located at the junction of causeway bay, wanchai and happy valley, accurately described by its name "San Ka La" (meaning far far away in canton). We arrived early at around noon, there was not much ppl yet so are promptly arranged for seat. Interior design is in industrial style mixed with a bit of old HK vintage. Very lovely and photo friendly
Today we ordered a set of steak and a seafood paella out from the lunch menus for sharing.

The sets come with freshly cooked pumpkin soup, novelly served with a spring roll, and a cup of apple juice.

The steak looks gorgeous and is in big portion, but it is not quite in line with the medium doneness we ordered.

The paella is on the contrary very small in size and the rice isnt dry as we expected. Its more like a risotto.
Overall speaking the food is just average, but the shop and service themselves were great. We would definitely come back for a drink and shisha.
