It was a farewell lunch for a co-worker & we arrive around 1pm. It seems quite busy with a round already served. Set lunch priced between $154-178.with open salad bar, mains & drink plus 10% service, & I picked the grilled US Rib Eye ($178).Unexpectedly the potato salad tastes great. Others are up to par. They serve Salami as cold cut but I am not a fan, some funny rosy taste as well (don’t mind me).Main course comes in about time. Mine is medium-well/70%. Well the server allows us an option of

Main course comes in about time. Mine is medium-well/70%. Well the server allows us an option of 50%/70% (in Cantonese) that I wouldn’t question about her order taking which is proper and local. Or I don’t think the chef would know how to cook it at all. Unfortunately our table of 14 ordered 6 prime ribs and mine is an end piece. It was overcooked on its edge but I accpet it as a result of the kitchen doing them all at one time. Yet I must say it’s my first time in my life to feel thirsty while having a prime rib. The seasoning, I doubt, may mix with loads of chemicals. Shouldn’t do that for a lunch prime rib charging for this price.
I don’t know why my dining oftern spoils at the end. Last time is the missy fly on my bowl, and this time is the coffee. The server took our drink order by “loudly speaking” to all of us as soon as the steak knives been lain down. Two coffee was ordered but mine was left on the turntable when the server dropped them. Who knows, and with my coworker not reminding this to me, the coffee has been sitting there forever, wasted. I thought I deserve some table service when my plate can be cleared meanwhile. To be worse, the new coffee tastes sour (overheated, I believe).
Not recommended for lunch, but I’ll try their dinner as a second chance.
