Housed in Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, Chun Yee Thai Restaurant has been serving traditional Thai cuisine to the neighborhood for years. Their Khao man gai (Thai variation of Hainanese chicken rice) is one of the best in town. The poached chicken is cooked to perfection and served without bone. I am sure you would agree that the sweet soy sauce makes up a perfect condiment to go with the dish.
Moreover, a decent portion of Hainanese chicken rice plus a bowl of broth and a cup of tea or coffee only cost 50 Hong Kong dollars. No wonder it has become one of the daily meal choices of locals.
