There aren’t many good restaurants in Kai Tak yet because it’s a very new area, so La Mensa is a godsend to residents of the district. When the ribs arrived, we tried to tell the staff they got our order wrong because we ordered a half portion, but it turns out that their servings are just generous! This was a lot of two people, so I think with a group of three to four people a half-portion might do, depending on what else you’re ordering. There was plenty of meat which was tender and tasty too.
I haven’t had nachos in a while, and I was very happy to be served a big plate of them with guacamole and chicken.
The beef lasagna also satisfied another craving of mine for lasagna and it was pretty cheesy.
