New Chinese restaurant in Wai Chai with a good taste and great service. Not to mention, the huge menu selection is truely appreciated. I tried many different traditional dishes, such as:
Pig feets in Chinese wine - Great wine taste and deep favor
Chicken wing in Chinese wine - good favor but better with whole chicken instead of boney chicken wing.
Smoked duck eggs - Great light smoke favor with perfectly cooked eggs
Preserved vegetable fresh shrimp - Perfectly cooked and preserved vegetable no too overwhelming.
Traditional fish soup - Hot and fresh ingredients, but it is a bit salty for me.
Braised duck with stuffed rice - Very rich dish but without the heavy taste and it is a very fullfilling dish.
Honey pork belly with steamed bun - Sweet balanced favor, the pork belly is not too fat with a crunchy texture. It goes very well with the bun.
Steamed soup dumpling - Very traditional, paper thin skin and very juicy inside
Fried pork dumpling - Again very traditional, thin skin with crunchy bottom and very juicy inside
Fried egg white with red bean paste - Not my favorite and not enough red bean filling
This restaurant is also very convience for car owners, which you can park at hopewell centre and get your ticket valeted.
