yes. i have always seen and heard lots of good comments about carbone. but sometimes that makes me even more scared to try. as larger the hope. the larger the disappointment.BUT. to my surprise. i LOVED it here. i was highly impressed with the service of the manager and the waiter who served us. trying to entertain/make jokes when we were waiting for our frd to arrive. (he was 45 mins late). but for some others. service could highly improve. eg. placing the food onto our table loud & rudely. oh.

oh. i forgot to mention. we came here for the black series menu. and that made me even more scared of the food. normally deals equals shittier food right? AND 1 starter. 1 main. 1 dessert for ONLY $499 per person!! (our photos were for 5 ppl.)
well. we started off with a caprese salad which had a huge blob of my fav. burrata which then they will help you cut it. decent portion. perfect for sharing.

The second appi was carbone's signature spicy rigatoni vodka was the bomb. perfect al dente texture with a highly additive spicy creamy sauce. after my first bite. i highly wished i didnt have to share! oh. and their mario's meatballs were nicely seasoned. very tasty with lots of flavours. however. i would prefer it with a little less salt. but they looked super cute tho!

For the main we chose the ribeye diana. medium rare. to my surprise the meat was quite tender and very flavourful too. highly recommend ordering this as well.

Last but not least. 2 cakes to finish off our meal. by this time we were soooo full. we couldn't finish it. but i loved the lemon cheesecake. creamy yet refreshing. the perfect finish.
