Initially, I thought of going to Watson’s Wine Cellar to get a bottle of wine just for the sake of redeeming parking coupon. However, when I passed by this cake counter and saw a small pcs of cake is $78 which I could actually get 3 pcs and could complete my mission. I saw there were 4 different types of cheesecake look-alike object so I approached one of the staff and asked in Cantonese “呢四款蛋糕有咩唔同” ( What are the differences among these 4 cakes).First of all, there was no greeting to the custom

First of all, there was no greeting to the customer but who cares. Then guess what? The staff replied me “四種唔同口味囉” (4 different flavors) ....
At that moment, the other staff chucked out that I could actually hear it.
Well, obviously I am not an idiot but I’m also not a genius to guess/judge the flavor from the outlook.
So I waited 5 seconds or so then replied “咁你會唔會同我介紹下係邊四種口味?” (Are U going to tell me what the 4 flavors are?)
In any case, I ended up buying 2 cheese cake and 1 double chocolate which total was $201.
When I settled the bill, the staff asked me if I need a bag. Well obviously I needed it coz I couldn’t simply carry 3 small items. And guess what? A small little bag worth for $5 ... ! This is totally a rip-offs ...! Anywayz, it’s fine since it’s only 5 bucks and not 50.
After I settled my bill - not a word of thank you or to remind customer to fridge the cake in certain period of time.
Verdict:
1. To the Owner
Not to mention that we are at this COVID-19 situation that if U can provide a basic service to your customer, U can actually win them back when things get normal.
The 2 littles girls could indeed ruin your business and Im sure there are many ppl queuing for a job which U can choose someone much better to serve your customers.
Having your customers to pay $5 for a small bag is just not reasonable even you are promoting environmental friendly.
2. To the Customer
The cake is absolutely not worth for $78 even though it’s gluten free for vegan. It tastes cheesy like Kraft and there was no blueberry or strawberry flavor at all.
Conclusion : Death sentence
The next day, I needed $200 for parking again and this time, I went back to the classic Cova which the service was totally different that’s what we call “luxury”.
