You have two choices on the fish: "fish" and cod. I got the cod, because it was a known quantity, but another of my dining companions got the "fish" and thought it was fine. That's good to know because there's something like a $40 difference between them (I'd verify that amount but on the Chips Republic website their menu is "coming soon").

The potential pitfalls in fried fish of this sort are, in my opion, and in no particular order: too much breading; soggy; off-tasting fish; overcooked fish. I'm happy to say that this was particularly good on most dimensions. It was soggy on the bottom and one small part of the fish was oddly firm, but overall the fish was tender, not too oily, the breading was crisp and I enjoyed it.

With regard to chips they were mediocre. Maybe this is a 'different side of the pond' thing though. I went to some well-regarded fish and chips places in London, and no one seems to know how to deep fry a potato there.

The meal comes with sides. They act like you get a choice between baked beans and mushy peas, but I asked for the peas, they rang up on the receipt, but I got the beans anyway. I would have returned them but honestly, I wasn't going to eat either.

We got two dipping sauces: 3 cheese (maybe 4 cheese? I forget the number of cheeses) and curry. n-cheese sauce is mostly nacho cheese sauce with some unmelted cheese shreds. Deep fried potatoes and cheese is always comfort food to me, but I wish all the cheese was melty. As for the curry sauce, it's pretty much just curry powder mixed with water. I actually prefer ketchup.

What can I say? For fast food it was pretty good and I'm sure if you're here then you're in Elements already for some independent reason and you want fast food. So in that sense I'd recommend it. But no need to go out of your way.
題外話/補充資料: The restaurant is large and I'm told by a friend who's been a number of times that there's always seats.
