As my wife loved Japanese skewer and i heard that Mokutan was quite well known for that, we decided to have dinner there tonight. It was located at Kimberly Street, few minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.For their dinner, they served omakase set as well as ala carte menu. Mentaiko onigiri - Seaweed was very thin and crispy and mentaiko was flavourful and crispy. It was chewy as well.
Chicken wings - It was grilled till very soft and smooth, flavourful as well. It was juicy too.
Grilled eel - It was grilled till soft and crispy, with charred skins at the edge. Spicy powder provided help to enhance the taste too.
Ox tongue - It was tender and juicy, tender as well.
Pineapple - It was grilled till crispy at the edges, and yet still very juicy when i took a bite. It was very sweet as well.
