This afternoon, as I was walking past this Ramen store and got on the escalator, I was asked by the employee (who ran out the store and chased after me), to tell me that I haven’t pay for the bill. I was shocked since I haven’t have my lunch yet. I asked him to repeat and got the same question, which is really ridiculous. The female employee who chased after told him maybe he recognize the wrong person then he sighed and left. Yes, he left without saying anything, leaving me feel embarrassed and
On my way back to the office, I passed by the store again and asked for an excuse. He saw me and said ‘how many people’. Seriously, he just forgot I am the one who was offended on the escalator literally 10mins before? I said you owned me an apologize and received his reluctant sorry in the end.
Overall this is such a terrible experience today. I have visit this ramen store at least 5 time because it’s convenient and close to the office. The ramen is ok, salty soup but same as the other ramen restaurant.
I hope the manager can see my complain and tell the employee. At least check the monitor or remember the correct customer before asking a random person for such a silly question in the public. Cuz it’s his responsibility to monitor who hasn’t pay for the bill before anyone walks out the restaurant, right?
