Viewing the mall's Christmas displays, we decided to have a late lunch at Pacific Place. Not sure what to eat, we noticed Sun's Bazaar had afternoon tea sets. We've only had drinks and never had the food here so we decided to give it a try.Menu is in English and Chinese. The daily sets are $68 and includes a drink. You can also upgrade your drink for one of their top five drinks for $18. There is also $88 set that is there every day.Boyfriend had the Kiki Dan Dan Noodles. This was ok. The noodle

Boyfriend had the Kiki Dan Dan Noodles. This was ok. The noodles were chewy but there wasn't much anything else. Then he found a jar of Kiki chili paste. After adding that, it lifted it up and he proclaimed, the chili paste is pretty good. Fragrant and just the right amount of heat.
I had the wok fried noodles with pork cheek and mushrooms, Taiwanese style. My original choice of Taiwanese tea smoked goose with rice was not available so had no choice but to choose this one as the others weren't that appealing to me. This is surprising as we just entered when tea service began and it had already run out? There was probalby like 10 people in here? How can it have run out already? Did they not bother to prepare it? Anyways .. the noodles were very chewy which I liked. Usually when I have this, the noodles are soggy. It tasted fine as well.
I don't know .... the food was ok. There was nothing really wrong with it. But it felt like I was eating food from a cha chan teng with 10% service charge. Nothing was good enough for me to return. Service was ok though they forgot to bring me my drink until I asked. And I didn't even add money for a special drink but one of the set drinks. It was a bit lack luster to be honest.
