Im French and I need to have some French breaks to feel like home.This restaurant is just perfect!I just moved nearby. The ambiance is nice and convivial and the service was careful and efficient.
To start we shared the "Assiette de La Mer".
It was really good and tasty. the presentation is colourful and appetizing.In this plate you can savour some Marinated Salmon, some shrimps in a creamy Cocktail sauce, a crab and avocado salad, and the famous salmon tartar. This last recipe is just amazing. We had a chance to chat with the chef and he told me that he put gerkins in it. that what gives this crunchy texture to this wonderful dish!
Then I had the scallops.
astonishing! they were perfectly cooked and well colored and I always loved the mix with leeks that really enhance the taste of the scallop.My friend had the traditional Sole Meuniere.
the flesh of the fish was tender and melting in mouth. It was well seasonned with a buttery and lemon sauce and comes with some boiled potatoes. I had a bit and it was delicious.We couldn't finished this meal without a sweet touch. so we order the creme brulee.
just perfect! the cream was cold inside and the sugar topping was hot and crispy. Just the way it has to be.So to sum up. just perfect in every points: the food, the atmosphere, the service, the presentation.... love it all.
