It was my parents anniversary dinner and we kinda want to be adventurous and try something new.The place isn’t difficult to find. It’s actually closer to jordan station in a building. There are altogether 3 tables in the place. One super big table and 2 other smaller tables. We were seated right in front of the liquor cupboard - feeling fancy. The first thing we noticed is their elaborate utensils and cutlery. They are nicely organized and I especially like the pattern on the teapot. I also like

The first thing we noticed is their elaborate utensils and cutlery. They are nicely organized and I especially like the pattern on the teapot. I also like how spacious the place is - each table is given a decent area and does not have to be squeezed together with strangers.
We ordered basically most things that this place is famous for. Let me just talk about it one by one.
What comes first is the spicy chicken feet. The chicken feet itself is plain white, it’s dipped into a spicy chilli sauce. My family members are all chilli lovers thats why we LOVEEEE the dish. It’s actually quite appetizing to start your meal with sth spicy.
Whats next: two chinese soup- Chinese fungus chicken soup and salty cabbage with pork stomach with pepper. First, this is really one of the best pepper pork stomach soup I have ever tasted!! Our family really love his soup and oftentimes we are served with either something very salty or super spicy. This is just about right. I especially like how spicy yet not too strong the pepper taste. It is super good to drink it during winter. As fir the Chinese fungus soup: its very different from the pepper soup, its very soothing and sweet. We just cant stop until we finish every ingredient in the soup.
Next, the sweet and sour pork. I know it may sound exaggerating but it is really the best sweet and sour pork i have ever had. The pineapple tastes super sweet- apparently it is not from canned pineapple, its actually freshly cut from fresh pineapple! As for the pork, the crunchy texture of the crust complemented the tender boneless meat perfectly at a perfect temperature. I really just can’t stop eating. We also ordered a bowl of rice to go with the yummy sauce. ❤️❤️
Next we are served with the sea cucumber with vegetables. The sea cucumber is super spongy and chewy. It is especially delicious when it is soaked in the delicious sauce.
Next we were served with the roasted pigeon. Super juicy and rich in flavour. The meat was also super tender and we were given gloves to eat and with - how thoughtful!
Another my favourite and their signature dish is the mushroom cabbage pocket. It’s actually a dumpling looking pocket having a carefully mixed mushroom wrapped in a cabbage and tided with a piece of spring onion. This dish is pretty much vegetable but it is surprisingly good. The chewy and crunchy texture if the cabbage have accentuated the well mixed assorted mushroom. Even when the content spill out, when simply eaten with the unravelled cabbage - the harmonious taste still remains. It has definitely made veggie tastes scrumptious!!
Lastly, the end the meal, we ordered the tofu flower in ginger soup. Just look at the plating itself- the flower is actually the sophisticated knife work of the chef. We just dont want to ruin the tofu while drinking the really warming ginger sweet soup. There is just not a better way to end the meal.
My parents are very happy with the restaurant - the place, the food and the service. Probably gonna come here soon.
