Fresh, made-to-perfection, waffles!

Overall verdict: Highly recommended! One of my favourite cafes in Hong Kong that never disappoints. Weekend goers especially visit Artisan for its fresh waffles, specialty coffee and quirky aesthetics.Salt Caramel Waffle/pancakes: The waffles are freshly made and always come out hot!  Salt Caramel Waffle/pancakes: The waffles are freshly made and always come out hot! They smell divine but are not overly sweet or rich! The batter is light and not too dense. I always order this in sea salt caramel which comes with a side of ice cream. The sea salt caramel sauce is satisfying without being over bearing. 

The caramel pancakes are also amazing. Made fresh, light and fluffy, smells amazing but is never too sweet! Also, major points for breakfast aesthetics.

 Eggs Benedict with parma ham / Eggs Normandy: The saltiness of the parma ham creates a fantastic balance with the poached-to-perfection runny egg and creamy sauce. The lightly buttered english muffin also always comes freshly toasted! The Normandy is similar, but comes with a generous slice of smoked salmon in replacement of the parma ham.

 The staff are passionate about cafe culture and good coffee and are always friendly to stop and chat! The many times I've frequented this joint, I've seen patrons come here for a variety of occasions - Artisan seems to work for birthday brunches, casual catch-ups with friends, a place to study or just when you want some alone time and a good cup of coffee.
