This is my second time to Nahm, I remember they did serve very nice food while....their service was a bit hit and miss.So this afternoon went there with my best friend , at the reception we were made to wait since the servers mixed up with some seating allocation. After settle down on to our table, I we noticed that another server seemed a bit annoyed by the Chinese speaking customer just like what I had experienced about 2 years ago, so we decided to speak all the way in English and wah la
So this afternoon went there with my best friend , at the reception we were made to wait since the servers mixed up with some seating allocation. After settle down on to our table, I we noticed that another server seemed a bit annoyed by the Chinese speaking customer just like what I had experienced about 2 years ago, so we decided to speak all the way in English and wah lah...it turned out better.
We order the on of the lunch set - Hanoi Set a three courses lunch at HKD88/person
The Salad - Spicy Shredded Chicken with Banana Bud, Crushed Peanut and Mint, actually you can taste even more flavour , you name it, you have it....coconut, basil, lemon juice...........
Seaweed coconut lime rice roll with crispy sole and shallot - the appertizer ..remember this is not a sushi dish otherwise you will be disappointed. this rice roll was served warm with the green salad...
Roasted Pork Rib with garlic noodle and Spring Onion Chilli Sauce - the Main, the texture of the pork rib is tender and remember to mix the sauces and noodle well before you eat, otherwise you will think that the sauce is over power....
We also ordered the Rambutan iced drinks while I found it very refreshing, my friend thought it tastes like medicine...
Though the food are presented in a very western way, they tend to serve like most of the asian restaurant trying to put everything onto your table and never aware that their tables are usually small.... and after we had finished our last course, we put our cutlery on to the plates, aiming they could take that away, and the server..I guess one of the owner, removed the plate and had it on his serving tray, but put the cutlery back onto our table.... and let another server to clear up after a long moment later....how interesting, they could have at least asked whether we were finished or not.... anyway....
Overall all, they still serves very good food and you do being treated better if you speak English
