I had a friend visiting from out of town so brought him here to try some authentic wonton noodle. I was debating between Tsim Chai Kee and Mak's, but there was a long line at Tsim Chai and no line here so we ate at Mak's instead. We each ordered a small wonton noodle (indeed it was a very small bowl for the price we paid).To me, wonton is not about being big and having the most ingredients, but more of the taste and being able to pop it in my mouth in one bite. It's like siu lung bao - it's not
To me, wonton is not about being big and having the most ingredients, but more of the taste and being able to pop it in my mouth in one bite. It's like siu lung bao - it's not the bigger the better. I thought the noodle and the wonton was pretty good. Service here is crap, but wasn't expecting much anyways. I can understand that this is more of a place for tourists to try rather than for locals to eat here because the portions are so small for the price. 張貼
