Saw this new cafe with interesting menu and cozy decoration, so we gave it a try. Cafe decoration and design gave a warm and cozy feeling. Use of sofa as some of the seats makes me feel comfortable as well. I was really looking forward to the food. First, we ordered 2 cups of hot latte. As you can see latte art were done well. However the balance between espresso and milk is off, too much milk without the right amount of espresso. Felt like drinking latte for kids ... Then comes the first main c

Penne bolognese with sausage and cheese

Looks acceptable, until we gave it a taste.. Penne wasn't al dente, minimal meat on the bolognese, and sausage with an overpowering herb taste that doesn't go well with the overall dish.
I have less expectations for the second main course now. Trying to keep an open mind while I waited.. and waited.. and waited. Mr. has finished his penne and there wasn't a glimpse of it yet.
After asking the waiter and waited a little more ...
Creamy avocado sauce spaghetti with prawn

Shrimp was fragrant and nicely done. Apart from that, spaghetti wasn't al dente, avocado under seasoned and too much cream.
While I like this cafe's deco and concept, the food definitely needs improvement. Will I go back? Not yet.
