It had that great chewy texture that the thick rice noodles should have.  The krapow was served on rice with a crispy fried egg.  The flavour of the holy basil came through and, splashed liberally with nam prik, we were transported straight to the land of smiles.

The sausage was the main problem.  Apart from being over-rusked with rice (a poor pork to rice ratio) and having very little flavour, it gave me mild food poisoning.  I hate to end on that note with my review, but the sausage was not piping hot and had been in the display case.  If I went again, I would avoid the luke-wark, semi-reheated sausages and go for a curry or one of the dishes we ate.
